We are a WordPress agency, founded in 2017, that manages over 200 websites around the USA for small to medium businesses. We’re a fully remote team of 5 people.
Job Description
We are seeking an individual WordPress developer to provide support & development for our clients. From solving critical errors, to determining the best solution for the client’s needs – this job will encompass everything needed to provide excellent service & support to our customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve client support tickets quickly, directly, and effectively
- Fix problems across WordPress websites, from errors to performance issues
- Handle full WordPress site migrations, ensuring seamless transitions
- Configure and maintain DNS and hosting environments for stability and uptime
- Provide ongoing WordPress maintenance, updates, and security monitoring
- Streamline workflows using ClickUp for task assignment and progress tracking
- Continuously improve support processes with better testing, documentation, and automation
- Good levels of organization, we perform white-label development services for clients.
What You Need
- Backend Development: Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, REST API, and WP-CLI for deep WordPress development.
- Frontend Development: Ability to build clean, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery (no heavy design work required).
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with the programming languages listed above.
- We value developers who also leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, troubleshoot faster, and reduce repetitive work.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate how technical decisions impact the end user.
- Able to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver without the need for micromanagement.
What’s Nice To Have
- Familiarity with ClickUp for task management and project tracking
- Experience managing mutiple emails, clients, etc at a time
- Experience with WPMU DEV products
- Knowledge of Zapier (or other automation platforms) to streamline repetitive workflows
- Minor SEO knowledge, particularly how technical choices affect rankings and site performance
- Hands-on experience with Cloudways and WP Engine for WordPress hosting, migrations, and performance optimization
Working Arrangements
- Approximately 25 hours per week
- Fully remote
Salary
This position pays $20/hr
